Jana Herbsta is young and powerful actress that always ready for new opportunities. She was born in 1991 in Riga, Latvia. Graduated from Latvian Culture Academy in 2014. Since her graduation Jana has participated in more than 8 feature films and TV series. She is always looking for interesting and not simple roles. Jana is always saying “It’s all about challenges”. She is currently working in Mikhail Chekhov Riga Russian theatre.

She was recently nominated as a Best Young Actress in season 2017/2018 in Mikhail Chekhov Riga Russian theatre.
In 2016 Jana has won the Best Leading Actress at “Nida Film Festival” in Lithuania.

Her playing age is 18-30. She is very good at singing: Able to do various styles of vocals from Choral singing and A Cappella to Modern and Jazz. She plays guitar and piano.
Jana speaks Russian, Latvian, English and French.

In 2019, she was playing leading role in one of German TV-series “Life in…” directed by Pepe Pipping.
In 2018, she was playing leading role in Latvian feature film “7 Billion Years Before the End of the World” directed by Janis Abele. Movie was shot in Latvia and also in France.
Project inspired by the French New Wave and French cinema in general have got a warm welcome in major festivals in France and Latvia.
